Y los nominados al Emmy son...

Los actores Anna Chlumsky y Shemar Moore junto con el Ceo de la Academia de Televisión de Estados Unidos Hayma Washington anunciaron las nominaciones para los mayores premios de la pantalla chica en vivo desde el Wolf Theatre y la Academia de Televisión Saban Media en Los Ángeles.

Este año, cinco de las siete series nominadas debutan en la categoría "Drama Series" provenientes de la televisión, el cable y las plataformas digitales; "Better Call Saul", "The Crown", "The Handmaid’s Tale", "House of Cards", "Stranger Things", "This Is Us" y "Westworld".

Lo mismo ha sucedido en la categoría "Outstanding Comedy Series" con la llegada de "Atlanta", "Black-ish", "Master of None", "Modern Family", "Silicon Valley" , "Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt"  y "Veep".

Por otro lado, "Saturday Night Live" y "Westworld" lideran este año con mayor número de nominaciones, 22 en total, seguidos por "Stranger Things" y "Feud: Bette and Joan" con 18 y  "Veep" con 17.

Por su parte, HBO lidera la tabla del número de nominaciones con 110 en total y le sigue Netflix con 91 y el canal NBC, con 60.

La ceremonia de la edición número 69 de los Emmy Awards se transmitirá en vivo desde el Microsoft Theater en Los Ángeles, el 17 de setiembre con la conducción de Stephen Colbert.
